Ai's Alice can cause people around her to fall asleep almost instantaneously. If she uses it on purpose without her Alice Restraint, it can cause the victim to fall into a coma. Even though she is the cause of the coma or sleep, she has no way of waking them up. Ai herself is always affected by this Alice, making her sleepy a lot. Her control over it is horrible, making her keep her Alice Restraint on her all the time.

Although her Alice Shape is a Diffuse kind, her capacity as an Alice is very high. Her power output may be considered high for someone with a Diffuse Shape, but it's relatively low compared to her full ability.

How it was discovered

Ai's Alice was discovered at the age of 4. As a child, she was always one who was very sleepy. Little did her parents know that this non-stop fatigue was a side affect of her Alice. At her fourth birthday party, Ai had invited over several of her friends from school and they were happily eating cake like innocent 4 and 5 year olds. Ai was extremely happy, and strong emotion caused her Alice to be used unconsciously. Around her, young children were falling asleep left and right. Of course, adults were no exception. Ai's mom was not with them at the time, so she was very surprised to see this scene. She consulted one of her friends, who coincidentally had an Alice. This friend was no longer an Alice, but she recommended having Ai's mom send Ai to Alice Academy, where they could confirm what kind of Alice she had.
